Parents, Students, and Faculty: 

     I am very humbled to be asked to take on the daunting task of following Mr. Gary Cartwright as Bethel Middle School Principal.  He served this community and school system with class and distinction for 36 years.  Believe me; no one wanted him to stay more than myself.  However, he and Marsha are overdue to enjoy some quality time with each other and family.  I wish them the very best.
     The opportunity to collaborate with the outstanding staff of the Middle School is one that I welcome, whole heartedly.  We will endeavor to carry on the work started by Mr. Cartwright to make this particular unit of our school system superior to most across this state.  We have an extraordinary group of students and patrons that we will continue to serve at the highest of levels.  
     This school system has been my family’s home now for 25 years.  It is my deepest desire that your children are able to reap the benefits of an education received from this marvelous school system as my two children have.  It is my responsibility to make sure that we at the middle school level do our very best in that effort.
